Entry Requirements Marine Engineering
1. Must hold a Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent and have earned at least 5 credit passes in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Technical drawing and any other relevant science courses completed in no more than two sittings
2. The candidate must have a National Diploma in Marine Engineering from the Maritime Academy of Nigeria or another Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)-accredited institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50 (lower credit).
3. A JAMB registration number is required.
4. The candidate must have at least one year of documented post-ND Industrial Training or have gained at least one year of comparable job experience in a relevant business.
5. Candidates who have earned a National Diploma from the Maritime Academy of Nigeria must have either obtained at least two years of relevant work experience in a relevant organization or completed at least two years of Post-ND Industrial Training with documentation.
