Qualifications for AAUA Post-UTME Examination
Candidates must have scored 160 or higher on the 2025/2026 UTME and have chosen Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) as their top choice.
For direct entry candidates, AAUA must have been their top choice.
Applicants who took the 2025/2026 UTME, received a score of 160 or more, and want to switch to AAUA as their first choice may also apply.
UTME scores must be at least 250 for applicants to the LAW program and at least 200 for applicants to the Mass Communication program.
Those who did not initially choose AAUA as their first choice must update their JAMB CAPS to AAUA before the registration deadline.

Whether you are a college, university, or polytechnic, you must pay an acceptance fee to the institution as a fresher or first-year student to show that you have accepted the offer of admission.
An admission fee must be paid before any additional fees are due if you are accepted to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA). You risk losing your admission if you don’t pay this fee by the deadline.

Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba currently charges new students between₦75,000 and₦150,000 and returning students between₦80,000 and₦100,000.

General Guidelines for All Applicants
All O-Level results should be uploaded to the platform. O’Level criteria allow for a maximum of two sittings.
WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB O’Level scores are accepted by AAUA.
First Degree (Second Class Lower), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (6 Points), and NCE (8 Points) are all accepted by AAUA for Direct Entry.
Applicants who are expecting their O-Level results may still apply, but they will need to upload them to the university portal and JAMB CAPS as soon as they are available.
Verify the O’Level and UTME admission requirements for the courses you have selected.
If the UTME subject combinations do not match, switch to the desired courses on JAM CAPS.
Examine the course prerequisites and choose the appropriate subject combinations, making sure to get credit in both math and English.
Carefully fill out the online form because errors could result in disqualification for misrepresentation.
Print the proof that the transaction was completed for your records.
